hey, i am new

just getting the guts to post a blog on this website. i have a few other blogs, but mostly just for myself. i thought it might be nice to meet some other nesties and perhaps see what things are like here! so, here it goes...
we just got married about 2 months ago. people are always asking, "do you feel different now that you are married?" and i always say no, not really b/c we have been living together from the beginning, over 3 years now. but hubby told me that when he gets asked that question, he always responds, "yes!" i guess he is now more acutely aware that he needs to consider me and us all the time now. anyhoo, i can't believe the wedding was 2 months ago. it seems like longer. i have been incredibly busy with work since we got back from the honeymoon in mid-november. i am pretty much feeling like a chicken with its head cut off. and i keep slamming into holidays left and right!
i am looking forward to our little trip down to orange county for the holidays though. honestly, i am really looking forward to the 6 hour car ride, just listening to music or a book on tape, and being a little disconnected from things. isn't that terrible? i just want the 6 hours to be left alone and enjoy the ride. then when we get there, i am looking forward to good food, seeing my family, and going to the movies. hopefully that will put me more in the christmas spirit!
i am off...to wrap presents and clean up the house!
