so, the consultation for lasik went well.  i set up my surgery for april 10th.  i am super excited, and a little nervous.  however, i am confident that everything will go well, and there will be no complications.  the only thing that i don't like is that i have to wear glasses for a week before the procedure.  i hate wearing glasses; i pretty much haven't worn glasses in public since i was about 13.  but, i suppose the good thing is--i will never have to wear them again!!  well, until i am 50, and need reading glasses. finally, i will be able to wake up and see clearly!  nice!

it started raining.  boo!  the weather here has been gorgeous for the past few weeks.  oh well...summer will be here soon.

i was trying to be productive and clean out the downstairs closet.  i had visions of organizing the stuff in there, and packing up some stuff for the move...but when i started going through everything, i realized most of the stuff in there is dh's.  so, i stopped, thought i deserved a break, and logged onto the computer.  i started chatting and blogging, and so much for cleaning....

my doc said I would need to wear glasses for 3-4 wks before surgery to make sure my eyes adapt back to normal sight before the surgery. consider yourself lucky for only 1 wk!

Glad to hear it went well!  I've heard so many great things about it from people who have had it done, so I'm sure there's no need to worry.  ^^;;
