Mikey's Graduation

A few weeks ago was my brother-in-law's graduation, he had just completed his master's degree in theology from Golden Gate seminary. My friend Holly had lent me the adorable red polka dot button down shirt. It fit a bit taught in the chest area because of my enlarged pregnancy boobs but nothing too bad.
The auditorium area was filling up and Brian's aunt and uncle had just arrived but were sitting opposite us in our large groups section. As I stood up to go say hello I grabbed my purse and went to throw it over my shoulder. Apparently as I did so my thumb grazed the shirt pulling the buttons open. I began to walk but then realized something didn't feel quite right. I looked down and realized my shirt was unbuttoned clear down to my stomache and I had just flashed the families and friends of this years future Southern Baptist Pastors. Oops.
As I turned to face the wall and button my shirt, I also gathered my dignity and realized how being a mom was already becoming a humbling experience.
