It's the simple things

I love good make-up just like any other gal, but I've never been great at putting it on. I wouldn't consider myself a natural when it comes to the art of make-up but I can do all the basics. I do however find it a bit time consuming to do my whole face with lipstick, lip liner, eye shadow, face powder, blush, mascara etc.

I'm a big fan of MAC for their lipstick colors, I've been wearing one of their shades since high school, and I usually go with Neutrogena for powder since my skin is sensitive and prone to break outs, and I love Benefit for the blush colors... but have you noticed that none of them are really packaged great for on the go use? Well.... I decided to check out Neutrogena's new line of powders and blushes that come in the all in one package with a brush built right in... I LOVE THEM! This is of course my own personal opinion, but they are so easy to use, easy on your skin, and they have great colors. The powder I picked blends in so nicely with my skin that you can barely tell I'm wearing anything, it just takes away the shine which is what I like. I also don't really feel them on my skin. Any make-up that sits heavy on my skin totally bugs me and makes me feel like The Joker from Batman. I feel like any second if smile too big my face will crack and my mask of make-up will come peeling off. The best part is that they travel well, and are so easy to apply, it's just one item. No puff pads that might get lost in your bag or drop on the floor, no cumbersome case, no extra blush brush.

Buying those to simple little make-up items totally made my day, and helped re-inspire me to be a make-up wearing woman again.
