Post Weekend Blahs

I'm bummed the weekend is over and it's only Tuesday. We had so much going on this weekend so of course it flew by.
Cousins came over to say goodbye (they're moving out of state) and give us back a ton of baby gear they borrowed. Where the hell am I supposed to put all of that stuff now that it's back. I've got a nephew that's pregnant as well as the babysitter both of whom we've offered to loan stuff too... but each one has had a baby shower and been given a lot of what we would loan them. So now we have to find a place to store it all. In case you missed my previous post a while back where I talked about the house, we don't exactly have empty space around this house - storage is at a premium. Oh well, maybe someone else we know will get pregnant.
Hubby is his third week of nursing school and he's finding it a lot harder than he expected. He's used to long hours, but not this much reading. He's getting really down on himself about his performance in class, and I guess it's rather strict. So if you don't maintain the minimum requirements for your GPA they kick you out of the program. I'm going to cross my fingers that after 4 years of trying to make this happen that does not become Hubby's fate.
I was totally in to make-up these last few weeks after discovering the new Neutrogena powder products, but seem to have lost the 'fever'. I'm still wearing but with less daily dedication. And all of sudden my nails have gone to crap. They were totally long and beautiful and was keeping them nicely filed and painted (what working mom has time for a paid mani/pedi - not me) and now all of sudden they've all broken off and are peeling. What gives?! Maybe it has to do with stupid cold I've been trying to fight off, or maybe I should go back on prenatal vitamins, those seem to do wonders for your hair and nails.
My son has been totally adorable lately because he's really focusing on trying to talk and he repeats almost everything we say but he really can't pronounce anything too well yet. Baby talk is so cute! He's also been following me around the house... literally. It's adorable, I have my own shadow and it happens to be my mini me! God I wish I could be home more with him.
Is it Friday yet?!
