It's been a long past couple of weeks. But I got my beneficiary check and I am happy to say that Chris and I are no longer in credit card debt!! Yay... it is such a relieve to me to not have to worry about that. Oh and I just bought a new car! I got an 09 Subaru Forester and I absolutely love it. It was a little more money than I wanted to spend, but I think it will be the best decision for us in the long run. Now Chris wants to start having kids! I went to Barnes & Noble to try and find Taking Charge of Your Fertility, but I couldn't find it. Maybe the library has it. I also bought one of those ovulation test packs. I don't know if I'll use it this month, but at least I have it.
Sorry I'm just rambling. Anyway, one of my friends from work and I are going to start working out together. We're hoping to do the Race for the Cure 5k here in Denver in October, so we have about 7 weeks to go from couch potatoes to 5kers. I've done the Couch to 5k program before so I know we can do it. It's really a matter of staying motivated. Now that I have a buddy, I should be able to keep myself in check.
It's finally cooling down here. Our A/C was finally fixed but we only had to use it for about a week. Maybe we'll get another heat wave, but I'm kind of hoping that it stays cool. No more pool for me. Hopefully a couple girl friends and I are going to see Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 this weekend.
