Open houses

Posted Monday, June 25, 2007 12:57 AM

So we lucked out a little bit more this weekend finding open houses (in areas we can afford too), last weekend we only found one!  Going to open houses definately made me realize a couple things, first off that we won't work with the skeezy guy at open house #2, and how quick we're probably going to need to get our butts moving to get pre-approved and find a house and close before the lease is up.  Everyday at work, I realize that holy crap, June is almost over!!  Anyone else feeling like you're going to be 80 in no time??  I guess I'm just realizing how fast time is flying and how little time left we have to do this whole thing comfortably.  Also depending on who you talk to, we either have anywhere from 0-10% saved depending on how much closing costs are.  Oh well!!!  I just hope that all of the houses that are for sale now in the neighborhoods we like aren't sold by the time we get around to it!  Stick out tongue

re: Open houses

I'm totally petrified I'm going to just wake up and be 80, that's how fast it seems like time flies for me.  I'm already 28 and I feel like I should be 18.  I think a lot of it has to do with the work week.  I think it should be less than 40 hours.  Working just 4 days a week instead of 5 would make a world of difference.

Yeah edmo, I think work does get in the way of everything...I was home for a few months until I got my nursing lisence in PA and it was nice and calm....now it flies that I have a job and I'm afraid that one day I'll wake up and I won't remember the last 20 years!
