So last Thursday we went to look at three houses with an agent and ended up going back to the office with her and putting in an offer on the third one we saw. They countered Friday and we accepted, how's that for fast, huh? We ended up getting seller's help with a slightly higher price, so that's fine for us (what's an extra $20 a month if you don't have to have $5000 up front?) Next step is inspection so hopefully it will all go alright and then we're supposed to close in mid August. Keep your fingers crossed that it all goes smoothly and works out in the end 
Would be nice because then we can work on fixing it up a little bit and still live in our apartment so we're not co-existing with chaos!
