More on the last couple days

Posted Wednesday, September 30, 2009 9:24 AM

Crazy Aunt Pam is coming this Friday, I mentioned it in my last post. The woman is nuts, but she is family and hasn't seen Lily yet, so we are putting up with it. FIL suggested not putting our guest bedroom together (the bed is still leaning against the

We didn't get out night before last to test drive some vehicles, so after attempting to get our drivers licenses changed, we went to the Ford dealership. :D We were just going to drive through the lots (we have Ford, Chevy, and Dodge dealers all in a

And, and, and...

Posted Tuesday, September 22, 2009 10:37 AM

I had a couple other things I wanted to talk about. I wanted to toally brag on my dog. He has been FANTASTIC. I was worried about him being jealous of Lily and having a hard time moving, but he has really been great. He doesn't like clutter, and our house

Weddings and cranky babies... :D

Posted Monday, September 21, 2009 10:01 AM

Don't get me wrong, I had fun at my own wedding, I really did, but all of the planning and stress almost ruined it for me, as bad as that sounds. But I had a blast at M & C's wedding. The wedding party (aside from one groomsman and one bridesmaid,

Lily needs a suitcase

Posted Thursday, September 17, 2009 1:21 PM

Ugh! Packing for that child is a pain. I should know, we have practically lived out of suitcases since she was born. A normal duffel bag is way too big, and any of the tote bags I have are floppy and just not quite big enough. Josh and I have the Swiss

Lily's First Bottle

Posted Wednesday, September 16, 2009 1:28 PM

It was torture! I honestly didn't think this would be this hard or I would have such a hard time with it. I sat in the living room while Josh took her to her room to feed her and she accepted the bottle right away. I seriously just cried. She ate a little

Ugh...

I hate pumping. I am having such a hard time wrapping my brain around it. BFing is just sooooooo much easier. So I don't know if I'm doing it right, but yesterday I tried on the side she didn't nurse on, just to get the hang of it. I think I got a little

Posted Tuesday, September 15, 2009 1:03 PM

Ok, I talked to the LC right after I had Lily and she said to start pumping the week before the wedding and try giving her a couple bottles during the week so we know she will take them on Saturday. So I have the pump and everything sterilized. Now what?
