It's been a long time

Our internet went kind of crazy so the only time I can get online is at my mom's. Also, DH and I are trying to spend more time at our apartment than here. It has been a busy couple of months. My brother is in marching band so we've spent Friday at his games.

Yesterday DH and I celebrated our 5th dating anniversary. We went to the Akron U football game with my dad and brother. It was cold and they lost so it kind of sucked. I was glad we went to the game, it's better than being at work.

Work has been busy, it's getting to be holiday season.

Last but not least, we have been taking care of our cat. He has become more active the closer he gets to being a year old. I'd like to show pictures of our kitty but, the pictures are all on our computer.

Sorry if I jumped around a lot, I wanted to get some of this down before we leave.

We moved!!!

DH and I have moved into our first apartment together. After we got married we moved in with his parents, because his mom was sick. Then we stayed with FIL to help out in the house. Well, now FIL has moved in with his lady friend and SIL and family moved into the house. We moved out.

Our apartment is a little one bedroom and was built in the 20's. Some things look a little old but, it has a lot of possibilities. We moved in on Friday. Well, I helped when I got off of work. It was almost 90 so we were sweltering. Now, we are almost completely unpacked. A great feat since DH and I have been working our jobs this weekend.

Max Kitty is even happy at our new home. He gets to look out the windows and see this big new world.

In- Laws

I'm so mad at my SIL, she basically threw her dad out of his home. She quit her job, which meant she had no income. No money no house. So then she asked my FIL if her, her husband, and her daughter could move in and live with us. DH and I have a room, FIL had the other room and then the office.

Well, FIL moved in with his girlfriend and the office is now our niece's bedroom. SIL is mad at my FIL for not letting them take out a wall. They want to do all this work on the house and neither of them have a job. It's bad enough FIL paid for them to paint the living room gray. Yes, it is as depressing as it sounds. They drive me nuts.

I'm so proud of my brother, he tried out for the high school marching band and was one of two freshman who are on drums. He has wanted to play the drums ever since he was a baby.

Last week at school he got an award for missing one day of school in three years. I can't believe how fast he is growing up. This week my DH showed my brother how to shave. It was so cute watching the two of them together. I'm so happy they get along so well.

Pulling my hair out

I was so ticked off at DH's boss. He calls hubby at 7:30 in the morning, asking hubby to come in and work for him. It really wouldn't have bothered me except this is the third week that he has asked him to cover for someone. Plus he worked from the time they opened at 8:30 am until 10:30pm.

I knew when he took the supervisor job that DH would have to work when they needed a shift covered but, three weeks straight. They have another supervisor they could ask.

DH called me at 7:30 to tell me the boss came in and gave him the next day off. DH really needs the day off when he got home he had a migraine.

Some days just suck

We celebrated our first anniversary on Sunday. It was like our first date. It started off bad then later it was better. Hubby had to work during the day, then we had dinner at my mom's house.

We did go to the cementary right after DH got off of work. We put flowers on his mother's grave. It was so sad to think that she didn't even make our first anniversary.

We had a nice dinner with my mom and my brother. Hubby and I cooked pasta and tomato sauce. It was so good. Hopefully this weekend Hubby and I can really celebrate.

Scary Person

We've had a problem at work about a man stalking one of the girls. He follows her around the store and when another person talks to her he leaves. He doesn't talk to her or purchase anything. The other night he followed her to one of the restaurants. The management has been making sure we leave in pairs at night.

I'm glad my husband waits by the doors for me. I'm also happy my job gives me little contact with the customers.

I hope for the girls safety and piece of mind this situation ends soon.

It's been awhile

We have been so busy these past few weeks. DH got a promotion at work and has been working six days a week. I've been working more hours. Max Kitty is doing very good. He is growing up and gaining weight.

My brother is getting ready for his first year in high school. He is trying out for marching band. He is starting to schedule his classes. I can't believe he is going to be in high school.

I finally got to see X-men yesterday. It was so good! I was so excited that DH had the day off. He orginally had to work but, got called in after somebody called off. We had a date night.

My one year anniversary is this weekend! Wow did this year fly by.
