Meet me, I'm Charlotte York meets Holly Madison meets Lucy Ricardo. I'm a paradox and a controversy in myself! I'm proud to be who I am...and I'm figuring that out as I go along!

Let there be spray paint!

When I married Jason, a wife of a retired Marine told me spray paint would be my best friend. It was they key to any decorating project. I never truly understood what she meant until just recently.

We discovered how easily we can update the look of our home for the cost of a can of spray paint. Those ugly blue lights hanging in our kitchen? Gone. All our mismatched picture frames? Matching. The media tower Target didn't have in the color I wanted? Being fixed!

And the great thing is we’re having an easier time decorating now that we aren’t restricted by the color of wood. We found this simple chest we wanted for the foot of our bed at Lowe’s for only $40. It’s white, but with a little sanding and some paint it will be perfect. I’m more apt to browse e-Bay and Craigslist for a new table versus endless hours searching through online stores and only finding things that aren’t “quiet right” or out of my price range.

Ah spray paint. A homeowner’s best friend.

In our kitchen we changed the blue discs to black to blend better with our decor.

About McCoffee

Jason and I are two peas in a pod. April 2008 makes 3 years that we've been together. Some days it feels like we just met yesterday and others it seems like we've been together forever. I strive to be his trophey wife and he tries to keep up with me and my latest hobbies/obessesions. We love getting lost on roadtrips as much as we love Sunday morning lie-ins and doing absolutly nothing.
