A Baby? Maybe...
Welcome to my blog! Mike and I were married on July 22, 2006 in Erie, PA. Although we're not technically considered newlyweds anymore, we still feel like we are! We live in a house we rent from my MIL with our dog, a pap-a-poo mix, Louis (pronounced "Louie") who is our pride and joy. I'm finishing up school full time to get my BA in finance while working full-time in a financial aid office and Mike is currently a technician for a national aerospace corporation. While we lead fairly boring lives, I'll try to spice things up from time to time to make the blog more exciting to read :)

Too early for Valentine's Day?

Am I weird for thinking of this already? We don't usually go out on V-Day but I really think I'd like to this year. I love to bake so I normally go a bit nuts for this holiday. I've already ordered all of my baking supplies from Williams-Sonoma and the last of them should be arriving next week. Right now I'm planning on baking red velvet heart-shaped cupcakes with little candy buttons on top that say "Be Mine" and "I Love You" (cheesy, I know. I just can't help myself Stick out tongue) Now if I can just decide where to go for dinner without breaking the bank..... Part of me really wants to cook a nice, candle-lit dinner at home, but where's the fun in that?!

Beware that V-day is always busy everywhere, and candlelight dinners at home is more romantic it would be hard to be romantic at a resturant with a lot of people. Although, if you make reservations then maybe it wouldn't be so bad.

That's so sweet! I agree that a candlelight dinner at home is more romantic, but maybe you could go out for dinner and still have your cupcakes at home w/candlelight. That would be cute and and really special! I'm really "cheesy" too! :)
