A Baby? Maybe...
Welcome to my blog! Mike and I were married on July 22, 2006 in Erie, PA. Although we're not technically considered newlyweds anymore, we still feel like we are! We live in a house we rent from my MIL with our dog, a pap-a-poo mix, Louis (pronounced "Louie") who is our pride and joy. I'm finishing up school full time to get my BA in finance while working full-time in a financial aid office and Mike is currently a technician for a national aerospace corporation. While we lead fairly boring lives, I'll try to spice things up from time to time to make the blog more exciting to read :)

Had A Productive Weekend!

It was wonderful! I'm finally caught up on the laundry that's been building up over the past couple of weeks as well as cleaned the bathroom and master bedroom from top to bottom. I also finally swept/mopped the filthy kitchen floor and organized our closet. It's such a nice feeling to have the house so clean! For the remainder of the week, I'm going to focus on cleaning the family room and kitchen. Hopefully, everything should be caught up by the time my Spring term classes start next Monday.

I've also got some more good news, as of this Friday, I will be credit card debt free! We'll still have my car payment as well as Mike's debt, but we'll have reached our first debt payoff goal...yay! I should hopefully have my vehicle paid off by the end of the year and we should have Mike completely debt free by the end of 2009. I'm so proud of us!

That's awesome.  Other than our mortgage and my school loan, we'll be debt free by August, which is perfect timing because that's when our baby will be here.  I can't wait to be free of all those bills.  I just paid my car off, so I totally relate to how you feel right now.  You did have a productive weekend, that's great.

Congrats!  We are also working on getting out of debt.  Have you heard of Dave Ramsey?  You should check out his site, he gives a lot of good advice.

hey stacey! not sure if you remember me or not from BOTB but I've often thought of you and how you're doing. edmo sent me this link to your blog so I could catch up on you and say hi. I had a chemical pg in early January, so this was our first month being able to try again - plan to test Sunday or Monday - fingers crossed! sorry to hear you've had some rough times the last few months - I hope you guys can get everything worked out and back on track. well, just wanted to say hi and let you know I was thinking about you. I'm mostly on the PL board these days, but check BOTB as often as I can. hope to see you back on there soon! take care sweetie!
