I'm having one of THOSE days

Today I thought was going to be good...
DH woke me up around 5:30 to let me know that he was not feeling well and wasn't going to work. Not a big deal except this seems to happen a little more often then I would like. For a man that claims to never be sick he sure does miss a good amount of work. Please don't take this the wrong way, I believe him and don't want him going to work if he doesn't feel well, it just seems like he takes every excuse not to go to work. His company is a little screwy in the way that they do vacation time. He gets 15 days for the year..that is his sick time, vacation time, personal time, ect.
Now here is were the problem lies. We have several weddings this year that we have to attend...all are out of state and thus require travel. We have already discussed the fact that we need to be careful with our vacation time because of the fact that we have weddings to go to. Soo when DH doesn't go to work he has 2 options to take it paid or take it unpaid. If he takes it paid that is one less day he has for weddings which means a short paycheck when we are away..if he takes it unpaid then we get a short paycheck this time around. A truely damned if you do damned if you don't situation.
On to problem number 2. Apparently when I sent our tax return in I was on drugs because I forgot to include our back up...W2's 1099 ect. Therefore, it was returned to me and I had to return it with all the appropriate back up. It really shouldn't be that big of a deal but it also delays our government stimulus payment because our tax return hasn't technically been processed yet. DAMNIT!!! And to top it off we are worse off financially now then we ever have been and really really need that money.
Sorry for being so negative...tomorrow is a new day.
