This weekend.

We had a mostly uneventful weekend.

Friday - picked DH up from the train station went home he showered, we grabbed a bite to eat and then ran out to Wal-Mart.  His sister had gotten him GTA 4 for his birthday and she had it shipped site to store for him.  I had gotten the e-mail earlier that it was in and he didn't want to wait to get it.  The rest of the night (for him) was spent playing and setting up his new game.  I relaxed in the bedroom watching the TV.

Saturday we slept in.  The groceries were delivered around 12 (yes I have my groceries delivered...it's a PITA to go to the store and fight the crowds).  Then we headed up to a friends house for a while.  While we were there I got the phone call that my twin sister is pg!!  We are very excited for her and her DH.  Once we got home we just chilled and watched the Celtics get their asses handed to them by the Cavs..

Sunday I was up early with a migrane, so after laying on the couch feeling sorry for myself I got up did the dishes, called my Mom to wish her a happy mother's day and I made my famous buffalo chicken lasagna.  DH finally showed his face around 10:00.  I had been saying that I wanted to clean the apartment this weekend because it was GROSS.  I just have not been feeling the motivation to clean as of late.  Well Sunday around 3 the motivation hit.  I spent the next 6 hours cleaning, vacuming, dusting, scrubbing.  I did take a couple breaks to watch the Red Sox and to run to Wal-Mart.

All and all it was a pretty productive weekend.  At least my house looks good again!

re: This weekend.

I think the only thing that really motivates me to clean the whole house is when we have people visiting.  It's been a month or so since we've had visitors, and the place is really starting to look like it!

re: This weekend.

If the grocery stores around here would deliver, I would seriously consider doing that... I hate grocery shopping.

If I could get my groceries delivered I would too. I totally see where you are come from with the delivery thing. That's my dream.
