It's Friiiday!!

I am so glad it's the end of the week.
Jamie and I are ordering in chinese food tonight in celebration of his birthday. We were orginally going to go out but we are also trying to cut back and this was our compromise. So tonight when we get home I will be giving him his birthday gift and he will be finding out that we are going to a Phillies game tomorrow!!
Last night we actually had a pretty good night. He brought up the nasty e-mail that I sent him..oddly enough he wasn't really upset by it he was more concerned about the fact that I had written it at work and that I was going to get in trouble for doing not work things at work. He felt much better when I explained that I had written during my lunch hour. I explained to him that I wasn't trying to point the finger or anything like that but rather I had to get those feeling off my chest or otherwise I would have blown up. I have a tendency to keep things bottled inside of me and then when the top blows I am babbling on about things that happened months ago. When I explained this he was also very understanding. Hopefully this weekend we can sit down and really examine our finances and make a plan that will work for us and our future plans.
My main goal is to pay off out credit cards. I don't mind having credit cards but I don't want to carry a balance. I have been reading on the money management board read something about snowball budgeting?? Does anyone have experience with this or other advice??
