A little of everything..

Where to begin?

Last weekend was awesome.  Friday night we had decided to order in Chinese food for Jamie's birthday (that is what he requested).  All day I had been thinking about giving him his gift and by the time we had walked through the door I couldn't wait any longer.  So I get his card and bring it out to living room and give it to him.  He takes it and says "wow, it's thick!"  (Gee, I wonder why? It only had 12 baseball tickets inside).  Well it all worked out just like I wanted he opened the card, saw the first tickets and then realized that there were a bunch more behind it.  Needless to say he was VERY excited.

The next night was the baseball game.  The weather was GORGEOUS and we had a fabulous time.  We can't wait to go back and do it all over again.

This week has been a little rough.  It's a lot to type out so I will just summarize and say that we have decided not to move in December.  We really really want to be closer to family but not at the expense of putting ourselves in the poor house.  Our new plan of action is for Jamie to look for a new job closer to where we live and to start saving and paying off credit card debt so that in December 2009 we can hopefully move.

Other than that I am looking forward to a long weekend with my hubby!

Sounds like the decision to stay put was a big one. But it seems you are being practical about it. Hope everything works out. And glad to hear he liked him gift. It's always fun when you can get them something they will really enjoy!

The decision to stay put was a big one...oddly enough I was the one who thought that I really wanted to move but in all actuality it was causing me lots of stress.  I am very happy to be staying where we are.

Paying off credit card debt is immensely rewarding...I speak from experience.

I'm sure he loved that gift...that's just a super awesome gift.
