My Nesting fun is over . . .

Posted Monday, June 30, 2008 10:41 AM

I am so sad - "quota time" has reappeared. It had been down for almost a month, and I was really enjoying it. It's not like I surf the internet all day, but I like to pop on for 5 minutes or 2 minutes and then leave, and I hate that I only get a certain

We're so technology savvy! ;)

Posted Monday, June 23, 2008 9:32 AM

First off, why are the weekends so short? I feel like all I do is play catch up from during the week. I’m doing much better on dealing with the miscarriage. I think I’m pretty much back to normal, like getting mad at DH and spilling all those feelings

One Month

Posted Friday, June 20, 2008 9:24 AM

A month ago today I had my BFP. I realized that yesterday, and combined with Jamie Lynn Spears giving birth and reading about the stupid 17 year olds in Massachusetts who made a pregnancy pact - I was sad. And I felt alone, because not many people know

Post Vacation Blahs

Posted Wednesday, June 18, 2008 10:21 AM

I think I'm getting a bout of it - the post vacay blues. I cannot seem to focus on work; even though we're busy now, I just want to be at home. I haven't lost any weight since being home, and I was so tired and yucky feeling this morning that I didn't

Therapy

Posted Tuesday, June 17, 2008 11:38 AM

Sewing is therapeutic. I plugged in my sewing machine (now set up in its new place of honor in the study) and started it up for a few minutes. I had cut pieces for seasonal placemats last fall but had not finished them, so I started that project back

Back from Vacay

Posted Monday, June 16, 2008 11:49 AM

I am back ladies! We had a really great time in Florida, sitting on the beach, eating, and fishing off the pier. But now it's back to reality. I did really well regarding the whole miscarriage thing until SIL's friends (who all have pregnant wives or

Pre-Vacation Tempers getting ready to flare

Posted Thursday, June 05, 2008 10:26 AM

Do I really only have 2 days before vacation? I need two days at home just to prepare. I have a list of things to get done, and there's no way it's going to happen. I really don't want to be rushing around trying to pack Friday night, but it looks like

A little setback

Posted Wednesday, June 04, 2008 2:31 PM

Well, I had a little setback this morning. We have two pregnant ladies at work, and one of them got hungry and people made some comments about pregnant ladies and their cravings, etc . . . which just made me think about how everyone was supposed to find

Getting ready for Vacay

Posted Tuesday, June 03, 2008 1:25 PM

We have so much to do this week to get ready for vacay. I really hope my body gets in shape quick because I don't want to be the fuzzy-crotched woman on the beach (which I will if I don't get a wax, and I won't get a wax if I'm stuck in pads). I got a

Doing better today . . . so far

Posted Tuesday, June 03, 2008 8:44 AM

Yesterday sucked. I ended up crying about 5 times randomly at work (while trying to look and act like everything was fine). I also cried once at home while we were cleaning out the study. We're getting all the junk out and making it into the computer/craft

It's gone

Posted Monday, June 02, 2008 10:58 AM

I got back my bloodwork results this morning, but I didn't need them. I miscarried Saturday. Right now I'm swinging from okay to numb to crying and wondering why, and then repeating the cycle. I know they say it probably just had something wrong with
