Skipping out early

I decided to take 1/2 day off this afternoon, and my boss was fine with it, so I'm leaving work at noon. Yay! I am so excited to go see my aunts and cousins. I haven't seen most of them since Thanksgiving, maybe some before then. Since Mawmaw died, it's just harder to get together. We always did things at her house, so now we don't have our "meeting" space. When I get home, I need to water my potted plants, pack my duffle bag, do some dishes, wrap Sis' present, and then hit the road. I'm going to ride with my mom and sis back to their house tonight, and DH is coming back to our house - he couldn't find anyone to work for him tomorrow morning. He's going to come back for his softball game tonight and then come up with the dogs in the morning to my parents'. I'm so antsy to get out of here now . . . I can't concentrate on anything except getting down the road.
