Best Dressed

I just bought the most amazing dress! Normally I’m quite frugal with my clothing purchases, (I frequent H&M, love Uniqlo, and can’t wait for Top Shop to open its doors in the US) but I just had to splurge on this one-of-a-kind dress.

The satin wrap dress from Calypso Christian Celle ($270) is genius. It can be worn in so many different ways that it basically pays for itself. Dress it up for a formal wedding (I wore it as a one shoulder gown to a friends) or dress it down for an office party.

I got it in the Caspian Blue, but all the colors are gorgeous and will flatter a number of skin tones!  I can’t wait to go home and try out the different tying techniques.

I had never been to New York before so you can imagine my bewilderment when I stepped on the shoe floor at Saks.  I was in shoe heaven.  I decided to try on a pair of Christian Loubutins just to see how it feels to wear such pricey shoes.  Once I put those beauties on it was love at first sight and I ended up buying them.  You dont even want to know what they cost.  But I love them

That is a lovely dress.  I saw it at a recent wedding twice! Once on the bride for her welcome dinner (in silver) and the next night on a guest at her wedding (in caspian blue).  Both women looked beautiful in them as I am sure you will too.

look at the pictures and watch the video for all the different ways it can be worn.  They actually teach you how to tie the dress for each different look.

What is so great about the dress is that you could show up somewhere and even if someone else has the exact dress, odds are it will be worn differently. I think it is great and I am a fan of the convertible-wear.

One of my friends wore this to a wedding and everyone loved the dress (in black). She kept coming out of the bathroom wearing a different style! It was hysterical.
