I just moved and I'm finally within walking distance to an amazing grocery store. That's the good news. But now I can no longer justify taking cabs to and fro and need to find a new bag to carry all my goodies (ok, also the good news). So I went on the hunt for the perfect eco-friendly grocery bag and came across these colorful totes.
You can fold them up into tiny pouches and get them in almost any color. I got the red Baby Baggu for late night trips to the corner store, the regular Baggu for big shopping trips, and even snagged a couple produce bags, (how else would I carry limes for the Corona's?)
Do you shop with an eco-friendly bag?

It seems like my lips are forever chapped in the fall. So, I keep a vase (strange, I know) full of Chapstick on my bedside table, and only one, very special tube, inside my purse.
This month, that special tube is Jo Malone's Vitamin E Lip Conditioner. I'm obsessed with the honey scent. The gloss feels great and the packaging is totally chic. It's a bit of a splurge, but when this tube is empty I'll just go back to my all-time favorite, Palmer's Cocoa Butter Swivel Stick.
Will you splurge on chapstick this winter, or simply stick with drugstore brands?

When the cute cover-up becomes a necessity thanks to razor burn, and ingrown hairs (i know, gross, but we all get them) it's hard to imagine hitting the beach in a teeny bikini. But, before you toss in the towel, start minimizing those stray hairs with two key tricks:
Exfoliate: Waxing weakens your hair follicle, but your skin is still just as tough and can clog hair follicles and redirect hair
growth inward. This it what causes those annoying (and sometimes painful) ingrowns. Exfoliating at least twice each week will help shed dry surface skin and allow the hair to grow.
Lotion up: Use a specialized lotion to help sooth, prevent and tackle those pesky hairs. We love Shobha Ingrown Relief Lotion.

Can't get to a pool? Don't sweat it! Beat the summer heat and moisturize your skin with a glamorous (limited edition) Evian Brumisateur. Designed by famous fashion illustrator Stephane Manel, these cool canisters can keep you cool all summer long.
As a regular beach goer with an inconvenient aversion to salt water, I
can officially say that this little bottle is a life saver! Sure I might feel differently if I were dipping my toes in the warm waters of the Caribbean, but I'll take a pool over New York ocean water any
day! And, with lots of parks and no pool in site, a burst of cool mist
can be just the trick.
Try it out! Let me know what you think.

So you can't afford Jimmy Choo shoes, or a Botkier handbag... so what! Now there's even sexier, and of course, cheaper way to get in on the SATC madness.
HBO has teamed up with Cosabella lingerie to create a line inspired by the fabulous foursome. So go ahead, channel Carrie in a floral set or be a sex kitten (a la Samantha) in a racy lace number. Even Charlotte has a comfy cotton pajama set. While I adore Carrie, my lingerie personality is totally Miranda. This lace trim bra and hot shorts set is adorable and costs $118.
Just a small price to pay to be part of the biggest fashion phenomen.
Which Sex and the City star would you wear?

Ok, we all love our denim, but sometimes jeans just don't cut it! The problem is finding a pair of casual khakis (or blue, or gray, or even coral-colored pants) that look great and feel great too!
That said: I'm loving the new styles from Bonobos! They fit great and come in a ton of colors.
Plus the return policy is amazine! Say the Shamdaisies are just a little to Leprechan for you... send them back. Bonobos will take back any pant for any reason and cover the shipping costs! So go ahead... try out the Pink Panthers!
Does it take a real man to wear pink? What's the brightest color pants your husband owns?

It's finally sunny in NYC and while I'm addicted to warm weather, well everything except for the whole wearing a bikini part, I'm horrible about applying sunscreen.
I know, I know... good for health, and better for wrinkle prevention, but sometimes it's just too inconvenient.
Until now! The sun safety kit is perfect. The best part part: a bundle of splurge-worthy travel size samples. Translation: Just throw it in your purse and go!
But hurry, the kit (an $87 value) is just $25 and going fast the deal is up when supplies are gone or in June (whichever comes first). Still not convinced? 100% of net profits go to The Skin Cancer Foundation!
I'm heading to Sephora.com now to get my pack!!

Anyone looking for a pair of comfortable and stylish summer sandals? Well look no further!
I'm obsessed with these Newport-News T-straps! (Yes, I have all 4 colors).
But seriously, they are the best buy for a gal with a shoe fetish. Talk about getting bang for your buck. These stunning sandals are only $10 each!
What does this mean? No hiding the box in the back of the closet, or sneaking the shopping bag into the house. Even your husband will agree that these are totally worth it!
What do you think... Worth the "splurge"?
