Football and an old friend

So AJJ switched from RYF to PYAA for his football this year. Since he moved we wanted to use the one that observes his school schedule. PYAA is TERRIBLE so far. RYF was informative and organized. No it wasn't perfect but we had great coaches that kept in contact, wonderful parents of the other kids, outting for the boys to do after games, and just a family/close feeling. PYAA is the opposite so far. Last Saturday was the "draft" and they just call you to tell you the team. RYF made a big production out of this and we all looked forward to it every year. But PYAA never called. We called them. They didn't know. They said send an email. It never was replied to. We drive out for practice last night and his was cancelled. No one called. No assistant coaches were there. I am just really disappointed! RYF was even $80.00 cheaper and I feel like we got so much more. If if continues this way we are going back to RYF for sure next year.

R that used to work with me and was my work BFF called today. She left here 3 years ago and we don't talk much anymore. She works full time and is raising 4 boys on her own so her time is limited. I knew we would drift once she left. It was so nice to talk to her and see what she has been up to. I really miss her!!! So we are planning to go to dinner or just hang out at her house. She lives about a minute from my work. She has an internal interview for a new position at work and made sure I knew if they called. It involves her experience from here and I was her lead at the time. I am keeping my fingers crossed for her (not while I type).

DH and I are getting along great. I was concerned about money for a few weeks b/c I knew we had some extra expenses last month and this month but I finally looked at the budget and I think we will be okay. The expenses weren't fixed so I had to wait for a few of them before I could figure out the money. It was driving me crazy!!!
