Anyone have a groomsman for rent?

Boys.  Sigh.  I've always been a boy's girl.  All my best friends are boys.  That's how my fiance and I met.  He came over to party at my house with one of his friends and then we became friends.  After a few months, we became best friends.  Then lovers.  Matt has always been patient and understanding of my many boy friends.  For some reason, I have a hard time finding a good girlfriend.  I have 16 Top Myspace Friends.  12 are guys.  3 are girls (one's my sister).  One is National Park Lover.

It was easy picking my bridesmaids.  My MOH is my sister.  She always comes first.  I was her MOH.  My bridesmaid will be my best girlfriend of 8 years, Hillary (who is also a boy's girl).  She knows and loves my family.  Her and Matt were friends before we started dating.  We've been on countless double dates.  She's crafty, fun, and wild.  Then that's it.  I have one other good girl friend, but she's not interested in being a BM.  I'm thinking of asking her to be my Day-Of.  She's been tons of help so far already.

Then there's Matt.  Now remember, we've been engaged a year and half.  So far, he's picked his Best Man.  Easy.  His best friend.  Now, he has to pick one other groomsman.  Hard.  Way harder than it should be.  I keep suggesting people:

"How about Scotty?  We always have so much fun when we go out with him."

"Scotty isn't my friend.  He's your friend.  He's never invited me to go anywhere, just me and him."

"Well, how about my brother?"

"I barely know your brother.  And we're not even close."

"You mentioned a few months ago you might pick him."

"Huh?  Oh yeah.  Well, I changed my mind."

"How about Drew?  He's always inviting you to play poker and go rock climbing and swimming."

"He only likes me because I'm with you.  We don't have anything in common.  Besides, he's your friend."

Grrr.  If it was MY wedding (meaning: without a groom, just the beautiful bride), I'd have a whole row of pretty, pretty boys I call friends.  They'd fight over who gets to hold my bouquet (while I put the ring on my own finger, of course).  They'd jostle each other for a better view and cry tears of joy as I whisked myself back down the aisle.

Sigh.  Why are boys such a pain?  So I gave him until the end of the year to pick his other groomsman.  In the meantime, I told Drew to call Matt more often because obviously, my fiance needs to get out more.  And Drew already mentioned he's not wearing a bridesmaid dress, so we gotta think of something.

What's a girl gotta do to get a groomsman?
