The wedding shopping has begun! Or...Yay! Christmas is Over!

We did it.  Christmas is over.  I have never wanted Christmas to be over before it ever began.  But it is seriously slowing my wedding planning!  We have just one more Christmas before our wedding.  I bet I'll be pulling a Bridezilla Grinch next year.  I can already see it:

"Grandma!  Why did you spend so much on presents!  You know my wedding is next month!"

"Sister!  Stop eating that fudge!  You have to fit in your bridesmaid dress next month, you know!"

"Dad, you better learn table manners before my wedding next month!"

Oh, I hope not. But Christmas just seems to pale next to my wedding.  I swear, I'm not selfish or an egomaniac.  I know I don't get a whole year.  I did get to bask in the spotlight when Matt's relatives quizzed me about the wedding, though.  His mom and I spent a whole hour talking details on the car ride home.  So I guess I shouldn't be complaining.

Yay!  Christmas is over!  Since we are having a Winter Wonderland theme, I went shopping at all the after-Christmas sales.  I stocked up on snowflake ornaments, icicle ornaments (we're having a tree to put presents under), icy branches (such a great deal!), and I don't even remember what else.  But it was so much fun!  I got everything at 50% off.  Michaels is a life-saver.  I know my sister went there almost everyday for her wedding supplies (I think we went 3 times in one day during her wedding week!), and now I know why.  I got these totally cute snowflake baskets that I can use to hold programs, or something.  I went crazy.  Ended up spending almost $200, but I got such a great deal on everything, I don't even have buyer's remorse.

Except..for this skirt I bought myself. It's cute.  Oh, and a shirt!

I know my bridesmaids already know who they are, but I'm going to ask them formally in January, when I fly home to Sacramento.  So I picked up a small photo album, and some cute bridal stickers and will make them a scrapbook of sorts with pictures of us, and on the last page will say "Will you be my bridesmaid?"  Except, all creative and stuff and they'll cry.  I can't wait.  I love to make people cry.  Oh no, there I go again. Bridezilla!

So today made me feel like our wedding is finally on the right track.  We've been engaged for a year and a half already and are just now starting to buy stuff for our wedding!  I can't wait to play with my new digital camera and take pictures of the crap I bought!

Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!
