Exactly one year from now...

Today marks the exact one-year negative anniversary of our wedding. Which means, this time next year we will be officially married and still celebrating. After a year and a half of engagement already, it's nice to finally be at this point. I am now officially following a 12 month countdown. I told everyone at work today, and got mixed reactions:
1. People didn't care. This was mostly the males, who pretended to be interested in my news, but were secretly watching TV over my shoulder.
2. People replied: "I didn't know you were getting married!" I just stared at them with my mouth hanging open. I didn't know people could be so dense. I've been talking about it for how long? Really, people!
3. People couldn't believe how time flew. "Why, I remember when you said you had two years to go! Where has the time gone? I can't believe..." This is where they started talking about their year and I secretly watched TV over their shoulder.
Just goes to show, nobody cares about my wedding except myself. My fiance kinda grunted when I told him the big news and whined about how poor he is. That's okay. I can live with this. I have the Knot. And the bestest Bridal Party in the world.
I'm packing tonight, getting ready to go to Sacramento for a week. Sacramento is where all my family lives, and so that's why we are having the wedding there. I've been counting down the days until I leave, measuring them by how many shifts I have to work. One more shift, then a double birthday bash, then an early-morning flight to Sacramento. I can't wait.
So here's the itinerary for Sac:
Saturday: Arrive, eat dinner, then spend the night at our wedding venue. The hotel is hosting a free stay with free drinks at the bar. I'll be taking my MOH (my sister), my BM (my best friend Hillary), and my stepmom. Our plan: take a thousand pictures, talk wedding talk all night, and drink as much free booze as we possibly can.
Sunday: Wake up early and go to the Bridal Expo at Cal Expo. Hopefully, I'll be able to find a DJ there. Planning from a state away makes it hard to find vendors. Fill up on free samples, enter as many contests as we can.
Shop for Bridesmaid dresses. We have a 3pm appt with David's Bridal. If we can't find anything there, we might go shopping on Monday as well.
Tuesday: My mom will pick me up and I'll go to her house for the rest of the week. We'll make a few trips to Sacramento to find favor-making supplies (beaded snowflake ornaments), and go back to the wedding venue to sign a contract. I might take my mom dress shopping, so she can see me try on dresses. Oh, and my mom has cable and I get to watch whatever I want, which is most likely the WE channel all week.
Saturday: Watch my little brother's basketball game. Drive back to Sac and get ready to go camping. Leave for Pizmo Beach that night.
Sunday-Tuesday: Camping at Pizmo Beach for my birthday. Every year, we go camping with Hillary and Mike for my bday. Matt will drive from Las Vegas to Pizmo Beach to go camping. I'll drive back home with him.
Whew, so that's like 7 straight days of intense wedding planning, seeing friends and family, and then 3 days of relaxing on the beach. This is going to be a great vacation! I'll let everyone know how it goes!
