Staying in shape during the holidays is hard!! How did I manage...fairly well actually.
Small confession: I did have an appendectomy at the beginning of June 2007, and I think it may have attributed to some of my weight loss (not losing the appendix itself but the pain medication prescribed to me for after the surgery; it made me feel sick to my stomach), but for the most part, I have worked really hard (in a consitent and healthy eating kind of way) to be at the fitness level I'm at right now.
Anyways...I have not stepped on a scale yet since before the holidays, but I have been going to the gym and running, so I don't think I'm terribly out of shape.
Dee and I have also committed to run the Surf City, USA Half Marathon in Huntington Beach, CA. We're excited, and we hope our training is getting us ready for it. I hope to finish in 2 hours or less. Wish me luck! Below is the design for the shirts we'll get for racing.

Edit: I weighed myself this week (1/24/2008 to be exact), and my weight held steady at 100 lbs! My weight fluctuates 1-2 lbs both ways, but this is great! Woo hoo. Btw, I'm 5'2". The half marathon is next week, and I'm super excited and scared at the same time!
I'll devote another post on my work out another time.
