In the midst...

...of my full-time work and full-time school schedule, I actually haven't been thinking about wedding too much, and it's kind of nice (in the sense that I still have quite some time) but at the same time breaks my heart that there are not more than 24 hours in a day.
Dee ran the Surf City, USA marathon this past Sunday, February 3, 2008. His first race, and it would have been mine too. His best friend, Jimmy, ran for me. Dee finished at 2:03, and Jimmy finished at 2:12 (with only less than a week of training). And my knee still hurts. =(
As you know, I'm an early bird planner, so don't be so surprised. I picked out bridesmaids' shoes. At first it was only a thought to be placed in the back of my mind until we approached closer to the appropriate time. But to my surprise, and my sister's delight, she already had the shoes. I actually have them too, which is how it first got a place in the back of my mind. It happens to be a popular bridesmaid shoe actually; I've seen many pictures, but it's also re-wearable (I know this b/c that's why I have them).
Anyway...here it is: Nine West Accolia in Gold
My cousin works at Macy's, so she was able to get these with a discount in addition to a sale price reduction! How great is that!? And she jumped on it, calling me first for approval.
And then this came in the mail for me (I'm an online shopping whore btw):
The clutch I plan to carry on my wedding day...i think. The silver shines a little pink, but it may have been the light I was under at the time (fluorescent). But it's very cute, and it's not too small, not too big, and it's got a vintage feel to it. I might keep it otherwise.
