10lbs

Posted Monday, November 02, 2009 12:19 PM

That's how much I have left to lose to get to the weight I want to be at which is 5lbs more than my pre-pregnancy weight.  BUT I'm sure the leftover halloween chips I'm eating right now probably isn't helping lol.

Oh my Seth is squealing, gooing and gaaing so loud right now.  I love all the sounds he is making now.  I swear sometimes he is saying "Hi" and "bleu" lol...

So my brother and D came for a visit this weekend.  It went really well.  They got Seth some really cute gifts but the best gift they're giving him is an Education Savings Plan! They're putting some money in an RESP each week for Seth, isn't that fantastic?   Seth was really good while they were here.  There were a few times I had to take him upstairs to calm him down.  He gets really overstimulated and even with a few new people around he gets all worked up.  But overall I was impressed with how great he was this weekend.  On halloween we dressed Seth up as Tigger and D and Danny carved a pumpkin each.  Danny carved Seth's name into his pumpkin which was super cute.

Sunday after J and D left we baked a cake for our friend N and B and then headed over to visit their newborn! She was SO tiny. I honestly do not remember Seth being that small!  When Seth was born I couldn't imagine him getting any cuter, well I believe he has!  The chubbier he gets the more adorable he becomes.  He is changing everyday and I absolutely love watching him develop into a little man!!!

So I really have to start making bigger suppers so I can have some leftovers for lunch, and not just eat chips.  I think my slow cooker is going to be my best friend.  Right now I have some pork and cabbage cooking, it smells awesome.  I wish it was ready to eat though.

What else is new?  Well I'm starting to pump some milk everyday so I can build a freezer supply.  I pump 3oz each morning.  We haven't been practicing giving Seth a bottle.  We really have to start doing this.  Sometime soon I'm going to go out so Danny can try giving him the bottle.  I hope it goes smoothly.  Maybe I'll go grocery shopping or maybe for a massage... hmmm

Anyways, I'm gonna go eat another halloween chip bag!

Leftover halloween candy is the WORST temptation!  I ate a lot of chocolate on Saturday night because we only had 12 kids come to the house.

Seth really is starting to look like a little boy rather than an infant.  I love the bottom pic. He's super cute.

Love the picture. He is soooo cute! We have tons of halloween candy left at home and it just keeps looking at me when I am in the kitchen like it wants me to eat it. It might have to go in the trash.

re: 10lbs

I was volunteering this morning and they had leftover candy out and it was not good.  But we didn't have any candy at home (condo = no kids) so thank god.  Seth is such a cutie!

He is so cute!!!  Isn't it funny how we swear there's no way they'll get any cuter and then they get chubbier cheeks or smile or do something totally different?  Love it!

The bottle practicing was really hard.  It took a long time (and 3 or 4 different types of bottles) before Boston figured it out.  By then I was already back at work and thankfully the daycare also put in a lot of effort and then he was fine.  But it was about 4-5 weeks of hardship before we relaxed.
