Is there anyway I can improve my vaginal dryness?
Q. Is there anyway I can improve my vaginal dryness? We use KY Jelly but I would like to increase wetness on my own (instead of him knowing I need the assistance)! Is there anything I can try?
A. I'm so glad to hear that your dryness hasn't put you off wanting sex. For many women it becomes so uncomfortable that they start making excuses and want to avoid sex. This is something I'd run past your doctor or health care provider. It may be that you need some sort of hormonal supplement. Vaginal dryness is often about hormonal changes. Have you noticed it at any particular time of your cycle? It may be that as your hormones ebb and flow throughout your cycle, dryness is sometimes worse.
If there seems to be no hormonal ups and downs than it may be that you simply need to find some sexier lubricants to use and turn it into foreplay. Believe me, your husband will be happy to enjoy a little foreplay that involves him using a luscious lubricant and then massaging you sensually with it. You can get all sorts of great lubricants from any of the mainstream adult stores or online.
There's no reason why he should think any less of you if you have a natural lack of lubrication. Instead the thought of you wanting him - and wanting him to drizzle lubricant down you're tummy, and pubic bone, and then to try little techniques like moving his finger through the lubricant and circling your clitoral region and then stroking your labia with it - will definitely be an enjoyable experience. Light some candles, put on your favorite lingerie, and lay back and enjoy sensual foreplay. Remember to let go of your worries about lubrication. If you're worried and anxious about it during sex, you are far less likely to produce natural lubrication.
