Something that I would suggest every couple try is MORE FORPLAY!! My boyfriend is also disabled and it sounds like in a similar way to your husband. My boyfriend also loves doggy style. Mostly though, I'm on top. I like doing it where I am on top, facing him, then lean forward, so my face is just above his. He uses his hands to move my hips up and down. Another thing that we do is that we go to the living room and I sit on a chair of the correct height and slide forward and he is on his knees in front of me. He feels more in control then and it's a way for us to face each other.
