House Hunting Blues...

So yesterday we went down to my parent's house for the day and to spend the night. DH had to work all day at the store in Matawan, so I decided to take my mom around to show her some of the houses we've been looking at. SIGH. honestly... its just de-press-ing. there really are no other words for it... our choices are a really nice even brand spankin new house in almost the trashiest neighborhood you can imagine... or WE can be the trash on the block! LOL!

I mean, I didnt know how it was possible for the houses to go from bad to worse, but they did... and the one that we were in love with i found out is now under contract. i know that means its not meant to be for us, but its still hard, cuz that one was perfect. so i'm just trying to keep a positive attitude about things and continue to tell myself that our time will come...

other than that, we have an appt with our photographer next week, i still have yet to pick out pictures for the album... i know i need to, but i just feel so overwhelmed by the sheer volume... i mean to whittle down 100 pictures from around 1,000... how can you choose! i'm just hoping i don't get suckered into really adding onto the album. at $40 a picture, that will add up very quickly... hopefully DH will put me in check when i start to go nuts... although, during the whole wedding planning process he was total groomzilla! hahaha... greaaat, we may be in trouble!

anyway, keeping it short today, i have tons of work to do although im feeling mighty unmotivated to do any of it!
