Tonight on our 5-month anniversary, we are finally going to the photography studio to sit down with them and design our album! I am very excited to do this... and will be very happy once its done and I don't have to think about it anymore!
We had 990 photos taken of the wedding day, and our package has 60... so granted, it has taken me a while to narrow it down. I have about 70 that I love. I still need to update my bio to add them in, but I never have time to do that... one of these days I'll get there... promise!
Anyway, I hope I'll be ok with how they go about designing the album. As a graphic designer/art director, i have some pretty good ideas of things I want and what i want to do... so far the only things that stump me are the photo for the cover and the large format photo they have "thrown in" on our package.
The cover for the album will be a full color OR sepia OR b/w full sized picture (i think 10x10 is our album size) printed with metallic ink and covered in lucite. when i saw the samples i went gaga over them and had to have that even though it was significantly more expensive. but hey, you only do this once right?
The large format photo is 24x36" which really is quite large... almost too large for my liking... i'm all for big art and what not, i'm just not sure how i feel about that big art being me. life-sized. it sounds a little scary in theory. hahaha... so i guess once we pick that, i'll have to beg them to photoshop all my imperfections!
Here are just a few of the proofs I like so far...

ok i lied, for some reason i can't get them up here... remember i'm still a blogging newbie... any tips appreciated, i used snapfish before and that worked fine, but now i'm trying to use photobucket, but dont know how to get them up... ugh...
i have to leave work early today 3:30 to go pick rob up at the store and then grab a quick bite before our appt, so maybe i'll try again later... peace out cub scouts, i'll let you know how much extra money i've spent tomorrow (every photo we add onto our book is $40... shoot me)
