So yesterday I worked from home cuz i had to take the dogs to the vet for their annual heartworm test. Both were negative (thank god) and Scooter had to see the vet for his itchiness. Poor little guy is back to scratching himself to no end and we don't know why. So the Dr put him back on prednisone for another 2 weeks since that's what helped last time. Once he's off that, we'll have to integrate some Benedryl to see if we can keep this itchy feeling from coming back. Ah, my high maintenance dog...
Once I got home from that, we continued to clean the condo because finally we were having an appt for someone to look at it! YAY! They came and looked and prolly isn't what they're looking for. BOO! But we have another appt on Saturday evening, so cross fingers and lots of prayers that we get an offer...
In the midst of running errands yesterday, I stopped at Target to buy this:
To hang in the bathroom... We have a bar on the outside of the shower door... that doesn't stay up. whoever installed it, didn't put screws to hold it in place. So now it keeps slipping to the bottom and doesn't hold the weight of even a small hand towel. But I digress. I was focused on picking up the towel bar, when i remembered that i had seen a super cute pair of shoes in the circular a few weeks ago. So i figured i would take a small detour and see if they were there. Well they weren't, but i did find these:

Nothing fancy, but i must say... adorable for $25 and very comfy too! Although I just had to go buy a nailpolish to paint my toe nails so i can wear them! All i gotta say is i <3 target! :) oh and btw, have to return the towel rack, its too big for the space. DH was like, what were you thinking? um...i was thinking "this is a nice towel rack that would look good in the bathroom." sorry my space perception is a little... off... LOL!
Today (on my lunch hour) I went to Ulta, to go pick up some new makeup... I wanted to try out the Bare Escentuals (sp?)... which I've been hearing Rave Reviews from my mother, friend, and Edmo (in her ode to bare escentuals). So i decided to give it a whirl. So far, so good, i hope i don't need to watch the DVD. The lady put it on me. Its very natural looking, which is good for my everyday and supposedly good for your skin... I got this starter kit that comes with all these brushes and stuff... so i'll keep you posted on that. (i also spent $14 on 2 Essie Nail Polishes, but we won't talk about that since i'm not supposed to be spending money right now!)
Just waiting for the day to finish up, meeting with my friend to finish designing her wedding invitations. i have a bunch of designs, so hopefully she likes something and we can get going on ordering everything. i'm just a little afraid of how expensive its going to be and how time consuming to build them ourselves. But we're having dinner at chilli's and i've been craving my quesadilla explosion salad! have a good weekend all!
