The adventures of Jewish newlywed navigating through the wonderful world of married life.

Putting It Together

I'm not a Sondheim fan, but the title works.

We ended up not registering at Bloomies and found some lovely crystal pieces when we were at Bed, Bath & Beyond (so far we've only done the Beyond part).

The invitation wording is complete (but would be easier if the Hebrew font on my computer would actually print). I had to physically write out the letters on the fax I sent to my mom -- I haven't done non-script Hebrew in six years.

This weekend (after we finish up the registry) we are getting my aunt's mauve couch, and when FI's sister is ready, we will give her the big flower couches and the old, ugly recliners that are currently in the dining room. And we are going to pick up two pillows from Target because neither of us can wait till June to get some -- we'll put those on the guest bedroom when the other new ones come in.

Adam has found a tux color and style he loves (black suit with platinum vest and long tie) and plans to meet with his GMs about their attire when we get back from Europe.

Yes, our pre-Honeymoon is almost here and boy do we need this vacation. Adam is in charge of the ports, I'm in charge of this ship (basically making sure we 1: don't get lost; and 2: make it where we need to be on time). This is going to be one of the most romantic vacations ever and we both have our "picks" in each city. We even found another couple about our age that will be on the ship with us who we plan to meet up with for drinks in Barcelona.

I expect things to become crazier when we return but -- for a brief time -- I'm going to see if I can get away without saying the word wedding. Big Smile
