Everywhere a sign

While flipping through the TV this morning before work, I stumbled across an ad for an upcoming show on Lifetime called "Side Order of Life"
The tag: Someone's got to save her from her picture-perfect life.
The premise:
Ever get an unexplainable sign from out of the blue that changed your life forever? Jenny McIntyre, a young magazine photographer, thinks she's on the right track, with a steady and predictable job, a dreamy fiancé, and solid friends, but everything changes when she receives not one but several messages from the universe forcing her to reevaluate her life and how she chooses to live it. From behind the lens of her camera, Jenny begins to refocus her priorities.
How cool would it be if we all received a sign when we needed one? The universe could just flag us down and toss thing at us until we got the message.
I was engaged before -- and the universe was throwing bowling balls at my head it tell me it wasn't going to work.
We are the chosen people. Whether we chose God or God chose us isn't important. It means that we have free will. We have the ability to control or destiny (to an extent).
When Adam instant messaged me I could have not responded. But I CHOSE to. And because I took that step, I was able to start on a wonderful adventure that felt right.
Doubts tend to creep into the mind of a bride-to-be. They creep into the mind of EVERYONE before an important decision has to be made: do I take that job? Do I go to that college? Do I skip the Sisterhood meeting tonight to go to the movies (OK, maybe that last one isn't quite as important).
Someone in my life is rethinking a path they have chosen, but I think this person might be color-blind: the light is flashing green …. this person is seeing red.
Sometimes if you are waiting for the green light of life to flash, it might not come. If you aren't happy with the path you have taken, take another path – just don't do it at the risk of something wonderful.
