Oh baby! (and mom, too)

On Sunday, I watched my sister have a baby. I never thought I’d stick around in the room during my niece’s birth, much less be interested in everything that goes on – but I stayed, and it was certainly a life-changing experience! I’ve already become the over-indulging auntie, buying too many clothes and shoes for our new family member (Confession: I keep a list of celebrity purchases featured in weekly gossip magazines -- $50 booties are so necessary if Suri Cruise has a pair).
But after watching everything my sister went through during labor and delivery, I realized I’m forgetting to indulge someone just as important: my niece’s mom! So, a question for all of you moms (and all the other thoughtful gift-givers out there): What is the best post-baby gift I can give my sis? I’m not talking about bottle warmers or swaddlers -- I’m talking about the gifts that made you feel special. Was it some great-smelling massage gel from a small, unknown company, or maybe a super-soft, stretchy cotton tee? Please send your best recommendations my way – I don’t want to forget about the one who did all the hard work!
