Are Resolutions a Waste of Time?
By Heather
I can't believe another year is coming to an end! I love New Year's. It's the perfect time to take stock and think about what I want to accomplish over the next year. There's something about that fresh start that really gets me motivated. Some people think making New Year's Resolutions are a waste of time, but I enjoy doing it and then looking back on them to see just how much I've accomplished. Here's some of my resolutions for 2007:
- Eat healthier. I have a terrible addiction to french fries that I need to kick.
- Organize the house and find more decorative storage solutions.
- Finish decorating the living room and save up for a new couch.
- Save money for a new house project, such as a new tile floor for the kitchen.
- Try out more fashion trends. I did end up getting leggings last week and they looked great!
- Take a real vacation for a week that involves air travel.
- Go to the top of the Empire State Building. Can you believe I've never been?
- Buy one pair of designer shoes, just because.
Did any of you make New Year's Resolutions? What are some of the things you'd like to do next year? And if you think they are a waste of time, why?
