I don’t really have anything interesting going on in my life to blog about this week, but I did want to give all the pasta lovers out there a heads up. Part of my job here at The Nest is to maintain our recipe tool and starting on Friday, we are going to be featuring 5 recipes from The Celebrity Pasta Lovers’ Cookbook. This is an awesome collaboration between Barilla (the pasta brand), a bunch of different celebrities (like Kristin Davis, Harrison Ford, Giada De Laurentiis) and America's Second Harvest - The Nation's Food Bank Network. The cookbook is made up of celebrities’ favorite pasta recipes adapted by Giada and Mario Batali and will only be available (free download) during the month of February. For every person that downloads the cookbook, Barilla will donate $1 to America’s Second Harvest, an organization that provides food to the food banks across the country. Not only is this is an awesome opportunity to get some amazing pasta recipes for free, but you can also do some good at the same time. And don’t worry, the recipes are your typical pasta dishes -- Katie and I tried the pumpkin sage butter tortellini and it is delicious! Please pass this info on to everyone you know, because the more people who download, the more money will go to feeding the hungry in our country. And don’t forget to check our recipe tool on Friday for some of the yummy recipes!
