A Bad Case of Spring Fever

By Lori

Is anyone else going completely insane from being in this frigid winter weather? It probably doesn't help that I've been under house arrest with an infant for the past month and a half and have barely been out of my apartment (taking a preemie out in 15 degree weather isn't exactly the greatest idea). But I am already totally dreaming of spring!

I am looking forward to spending time outside at the park with Cooper, walking over the Brooklyn Bridge, going to backyard parties, and not having to wear 3 layers of thermal clothing... maybe I can even treat myself to that "new mom makeover" I mentioned last week!

But we've got a few months to go before we'll all finally be basking in the springtime sun... and I need some help before I lose my mind. What do you guys do to help shed the winter blues?

re: A Bad Case of Spring Fever

It's way too cold when my double layered gloved fingers freeze in less than 5 minutes. I am ready for spring too! ... Skip spring, let's get straight into the hot dog days of summer. =) Reading is my escape from the winter blues. I experience the lives in the book almost as if they were my own. Sometimes I get so involved in my book I get grumpy when I have to come back to "real life". I also love to bake, and baking is best in the cold months.... my husband doesnt mind this passion either. Have a lovely day! And keep warm!
