Fun at the Faire
The end of summer is my favorite time of year for mainly one reason. It's Renaissance Faire season! If you haven't been to a Renaissance Faire, I highly suggest you find one in your area and add it to your summer to-do list.
There are all kinds of great things to do at Faire. There are tons of amazing shops with hand-crafted products and things you'll never find elsewhere. Great shows -- all included in the price of your ticket. Fun food like giant turkey legs and "steak on a stake". And the people watching -- that's probably the best part. So many people (including myself) dress up for Faire and there's all kinds of wacky outfits!
We love to play all the games. I'm particularly good at archery (check out my action shot!) and knife throwing. At the Renaissance Faire near us, there's a new booth where you can throw tomatoes at a guy that insults you. It's all really good, goofy fun and a great day trip if you're looking for something to do before summer is officially over.
Looking for more things to do? Why not plan an inexpensive dinner party with your friends?
