Fall Resolutions

I treat the beginning of each new season like a mini-New Year. It always seems like the perfect time to start with a clean slate and make some changes. This season I’ve decided my fall resolution is to be more organized –starting with our closet!

We lucked out and found ourselves with a large closet (very rare for an apartment in Manhattan!) When we moved into our new place this summer, I thought all our closet issues were solved - I couldn’t have been more wrong. More space just meant more room to display our giant mess. The closet has suffered long enough - it’s time to get organized.

After a trip to The Container Store we found these great sweater bins. They’re cheap and perfect for organizing sweaters, jeans, and accessories like ties, belts, and purses. They definitely store more clothes than hangers do, and we won’t have to spend so much time digging through the pile that is starting to stack up on the closet floor. Check out more tips for transforming your closet with our step-by-step guide.

What are some of your fall resolutions?

re: Fall Resolutions

I'm with you!  I use the changing seasons as the opportunity to organize my fall/winter and summer/spring wardrobes and donate the clothes I don't wear anymore to charity.
