Early Holiday Gift Tip
I am so not that person who starts holiday shopping by Labor
Day . . or I wasn’t anyway. In the
past I’ve always done it totally last minute, spending the two weekends before
Christmas frantically fighting my way through stores in search of gift
inspiration.
But last year it got
so bad that a big box of presents that I sent to ALL of my in-laws across the
country didn’t arrive until December 26th (due in part to my
tardiness but also to the incompetence of a Mailboxes, Etc. employee).
So
I resolved that this year things would be different! One of the items I’m ordering up for a couple of the women
on my list are these
pajamas. They’re eco-friendly
(made with 100% organic cotton) but also look really great (feminine but not
frilly) and feel divine next to your skin—I gave a set to my sister last year
and they were a huge hit.
I
already thought they were a bargain at their original $48 price tag (so much
less than Brooks Brothers) but I just saw on the site that they’re on sale for
$19.99! Which means I can afford
another pair for myself, too. Snap ‘em up while you can.
Do
any of you early birds have green gifts on your holiday shopping lists?
