Beware what lurks in the Man Cave

We recently purchased a new TV. It's a 50" Sony 1080pi LCD Projection. Holy crap this thing is freakin' HUGE! Thanks to an overly generous Christmas gift from my mom and dad (cleverly stuffed into a game of Monopoly) we had a little bit of extra cash laying around. DH decided he was fed up with Mediacom cable and we upgraded to HD DirectTV too. So far, we LOVE it! Looking forward to the Superbowl next Sunday to really test it out.
In our living room, we had a massive hand-me-down, solid oak entertainment center from my parents. Purchased circa...1993. It's actually a great looking piece considering things from the early 90s are starting to look a little dated. But, of course, it will not house a 50" TV! So we bought a great new TV stand too. Our living room is really starting to come together, now if we could only figure out how to cover up this huge picture window!
A few nights ago, I went into our bedroom and closed the door so I could get some work done before the next morning. When I came out a few hours later, I found that DH had moved the entire entertainment center, an old recliner, a pullout sofa and desk down to the basement. By himself. Ummmm...seriously, this entertainment center is crazy heavy, and those pullouts...those things aren't a basket of feathers either! I couldn't belive it! He said he did it while I was shut away because he knew I'd freak out if I found out he was trying to move that stuff by himself. Well thanks. He also could have been flattened like a pancake out the bottom of the stairs and I would have had no idea! Silly boys!
So he officially has his Man Cave now. He hardly ever comes up now. He's got all his scale tractors down there, and his car posters. He even finished it off with a mini-fridge. When I go down there...wow, it's like major college flashback! It looks just like his apartment in Champaign! To be honest, I'm a little jealous. I would kind of like to have a room like that for myself. I guess the rest of my house is mine!
