Reasons I hate NYC

Sorry girls, I need to vent real quick:

1. There are too many freakin people- I just spend 40 minutes packed like a sardine in a subway car with some seriously smelly people and a homeless man who had a huge shopping cart with him- I don't even know how he got it down there. Then at a stop where a lot of people were getting off...

2. Too many smelly people- the big sweaty dirty man behind me moved and a huge drop of sweat fell off of his head onto the top of my foot. I seriously was like rubbing the skin raw on my pant leg.

3. MTA sucks- There is ALWAYS a problem with the trains. This time it was track work so I had to go all the way to the end of the line and take a return train, thus wasting tons of time.

4. Trashy people- I finally got off this dreaded subway ride in the bronx and there were people having sex in a dark corner of the train station. No joke.

Needless to say, I'm really glad we moved to Boston. I think I'm done complaining for the day. (On a more positive note, the bus ride was awesome!)

I like visiting NYC sometimes but I always end up feeling uncomfortable for one reason or another. You hit a lot of them on the head in this post!

That is quite possibly the nastiest place to have sex, ew!!!

Try to enjoy your visit (and get some hand sanitizer if you don't already have some.. ) Indifferent

I always encounter crazy random people like all of your above on the T... except maybe the people having sex, I have not seen that yet.

Ewww (on all points above)!  I've always said NYC is a fun place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there.

I'm glad the Bolt Bus was more pleasant than the subway, though that's not saying much!
