BOTB: Baby Shower "Game" Idea

What do you think about a "scratch off ticket" game in a baby shower invitation? I would make these myself.
 
Something like:

Let the Games Begin!
Play if you Like!
 
We would like to fill a clothesline for the little one...
Scratch off two circles below and bring one outfit that fits your categories! (No wrapping necessary)
 
(Scratch off: Pick one from 1st column of scratch off circles would have things like 0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-12 months, 18 months... 2nd column would have things like red, blue, yellow, green, animals, cars, onesie etc.)

This is a "game" to ensure variety in the sizes of the clothing that the new parents receive at the shower. The end result would hopefully be pretty random... someone brings an 18 month sized red outfit... someone brings a 0-3 month onesie... someone brings a 3-6 month outift with animals on it... the categories are pretty broad so everyone can still have fun shopping. So many moms mention that they get a TON of 0-3 month clothing for the new baby and they hardly even get around to having baby wear them all before he/she's too big! The "clothesline" would be a string hanging up at the shower that everyone can pin their outfit on when they arrive.
 
What do you think? Would you have fun with this, or does it just fall into the "not appreciating the gifts you get" category?

I'm totally one of those people who is against "asking" people to bring gifts...like asking for diapers or something like that.  But I LOVE this idea!  How cute, and I would love shopping for little categories like that!  And you're right, every time I go to a shower they get tons of teensy little clothes, but nothing for when the baby is a little bigger, but still a baby.

 Pook, I was so scared to post this (ahhh!!! don't flame me people!!!) but I'm so glad to see your reaction... I'm thinking this might really be cute! FWIW, I'm planning the shower for someone else, it's not my own... ha ha, I thought I might need to clarify that!

I found this site... www.easyscratchoffs.com where you can actually buy clear stickers that have the silver scratch off material and you just place that on top of your "secret messages" - so cool!

I also think that adding the "Play if you wish" makes it into something more fun, rather than a requirement to bring something specific.
