sad: my KA mixer just broke

I got it for Christmas and I was just making the chewy cookies and it stopped mixing, and is making a sound like it is stuck. Has this happened to anyone? How is KA with returning items?

If it's new (not refurbished) I would definitely contact KA......these things generally last years! I've had mine for 5 years so far and I've never had any problems.

Oh no!! My SIL's KA broke after like4 years and they fixed it , paid for shipping etc. Needed a new motor, goodluck!

My pasta attachment on my KA broke and they were fantastic, replaced the broken parts for free.
