Who's watching fireworks today?

Me!!  I love fireworks and I am watching them at the baseball game.  I love the Rockies!!

And I have hope for a good game Smile

So often on the 4th of July the game is lousy and the whole crowd is just sitting around waiting for the fireworks.

As long as the rain moves through quickly enough to keep the game from getting called off it will all be good.

Me me!!  I love the 4th of July.  We're going to the Rapids game, DUH!!!  BUt I miss the days when we had the 4th game at Invesco field and 60,000 people showed up .... for soccer!!  I loved how loud that game was.   But I'll still take standing room only at DicksSporting Good Park too.  Hooray for the mascot all start game at half time!

Secondary IF blog

Lilypie

TTC#2, with Endo and compound hetero MTHFR. Lap 2/09 found stage 1-2 Endo in "significant" areas. Minor LPD. RE doesn't think any of that's the cause of our IF. IUI#1-3, BFN. On to IVF#1 and only...BFN. Was taking a break to figure out what to do next when we got a surprise BFP...only to have CP#2, 7 blasts on ice. FET possibly in spring 2010. SAIFW.

I don't know if we will be or not.  Edgewater always does their fireworks on the 3rd, so we caught those last night.

I want to go somewhere for them.  We are either going to DH's aunt and uncles country club for them, but also don't feel like going there, or we might go to the ones at Dicks Park (or what ever the soccer stadium is called).

We are! We're having some friends over to grill out and then taking S over to the city fireworks. 

We went up to a friends' place in Erie last night to watch their display, too, so we're getting a double dose this year!

I'm not sure if we are or not.   We have a bday party to go to, and then we were planning to come home and watch from our front yard because we could see the show at Southlands.   I can't find anything that they are having their fireworks this year though - so who knows.

We're blowing stuff up at home and having a big BBQ and party. I can't wait, I love hosting 4th of July at our house.  You can see fireworks on the entire front range from our back deck.

We LOVED going to Invesco/Mile High for the Rapids games.  We sat on the field one year for the fireworks and DH had a Rapids jersey on and everyone kept congratulating him on a good game - they thought he was a player, lol!

we went to the Glendale ones last night - first time I've let DS stay up and out to see them.  We'll be in Parker tonight - so not sure if we'll catch any or not.

I think we might.  Last yr, my aunt unknowingly started a tradition that DD wants us to continue with.  We found a deserted parking lot to watch fireworks from a distance (that way I can set up my tripod for photos and not have to fight crowds) and we bring pizza to eat while watching fireworks.

We might go to the one in city park (Foco) but saw the one in Avon last night. I don't think anything can come close to the size of that show, it was the best I've ever seen and we are definitely going back next year.
