Vicodin and Sex

Just an fyi to any of you out there.  Take the vicodin after you have sex!  It's the most frustrating thing to be turned on, and not being able to get the big O.  I've been wondering what's been going on lately.  Nothing, and I mean nothing could get me to orgasm yet I was sooooo close.  Then I thought about what has changed recently.. and I've been ill and taking vicodin.. voila!  No vicodin = much needed orgasm. 

Gawd, I thought I was going to die.

Haha, muscle relaxers = no big O (also hurts the guy's libido if he's taking it).  Glad you figured it out tho! Now what are you doing online? Get back in the bedroom! ;)

Well if I am in that much pain to need vicodin, there wont be any sex.

Well, my pain level increases when I lay down.  So, that's when I have been taking the vicodin so that I can sleep, b/c I cannot really stand and sleep.  So, I took one before bed, and got randy, then had sex.  Pain has never really been a huge deterrant (sp?) of sex for me, unless I'm nausous.  I've had sex with the flu, hangovers so bad that I couldn't stand up and still had sex.  It's not like I'm popping the vicodin for fun.  (they are like tylenol to me, they give me no "high" feeling) 

 I'm going to die when I have surgery next week and I'll be on doctor's orders to not have sex while I am healing.

You must have high tolerance if vicodin is "like tylenol" to you.  I'm pretty sure you'll survive no sex for awhile after surgery... I would think it would be the last thing you would want to do, especially if you're having back surgery (which it sounds like you might be).

Vicodin in the world of narcotics is a drop in the bucket. I take synthetic narcotics that have no high (Tramadol/Ultram) for pain, but if I take actual opiates, I have issues. My husband will too. Sometimes it just takes a long while.

 Some people have a higher tolerance for medication naturally. OTC medication do crap for me and have not worked for me since I was in grade school.

I have severe issues with my spine, so if you have questions of sex and medication, feel free to contact me, lol.
