Thanks for Cindy's info!  I contacted her earlier this week and she's doing Molly's birthday cake.

 

She stopped over yesterday to pick up the platter I want the cake to sit on and my FIL was over for dinner and it turns out she knows that whole side of DH's family!  lol   Her daughter is very good friends with DH's cousin.  Plus, her husband graduated with my DH.  Small world!

Great!!  I LOVE Cindy's cakes, I don't think you will be disappointed!  What's Molly's cake going to look like?

Which daughter is friend's with your DH's cousin?  Kelly or Erica? I grew up with both of them.  Taylor, Cindy's son is adorable.

It is a small world on how everyone knows everyone in Delaware.. I have only lived here three years and it amazes me how someone knows someone you know.  Kind of like us both knowing Mark.

She's doing a three (maybe four -- but the top layer is going to be a small cake for Molly to smash into) with polka dots.  Her prices are awesome!  The cake will feed 40 people and she only charges $40!

 I showed her these two pics for inspiration:

I love the layout and colors of this one (but without the flowers and butterflies)

But I like the brighter colors and different colored polka dots in this one:

 

DH's cousins are friends with Kelly.  They grew up together too (Do you know Becky and Morgan C.?)

I love those cakes!  I like the colors on the first one a little more!  Her prices are very reasonable! 

YES!! I know Becky and Morgan both!  I rode the bus with them and I was friends with Becky and Dale in high school. We catch up whenever we see one another, but with me living over here now I rarely see them.
