Thoughts on this winter coat?

I saw this J.Lo coat at Burlington Coat Factory today, but I'm a little undecided. Could you fashionistas lend your opinion. Yay or nay? TIA!

I don't consider myself a fashionista -- but I LOVE that coat.  It seems like a nice timeless piece to me.  I wouldn't hesitate to purchase it.

Aww I love it. And now I want it too! lol :) I love the look that the double breasted coat gives off.  It 1 not only makes you look really curvy and accents you in all the right places because normally they are pretty fitted jackets, but also 2 i think they make people look really sophisticated and classy.  I personally don't think that these jackets every go out of style.

Thanks you two! One of the reasons I'm on the fence is because my other winter coat is a grey hooded peacoat (but longer than this one with toggle closures....and maybe they're too similar?

ETA -- I'm looking specifically at the brown tweed or white.

I love the brown tweed! I would be afraid that the white one would get extremely dirty, extremely quickly.

i don't really like hoods anymore. seems like something that i'd like when i was younger, but for some reason i'm not digging the hood. it takes away from the "sophisticated and classy" part. i like everything else though.

personally, i love wool peacoats, esp the longer length ones (i.e. past the butt), but not the hood.  i like to pair / change-up my hats, if i need one.
